Pantone has released the 2015 Color of the Year – and truthfully, we absolutely love it! According to Pantone, this year will be all about the rich Marsala shade of red that reminds us of luxurious wines, romance and passion.

How to include this fabulous color into your wedding too? Read on and inspire yourself:
Have a Marsala wedding cake. With a bit of creativity, your pastry chef can create a wedding cake worthy of a magazine picture. The lusciousness of Marsala goes amazingly well with tiered cakes and lace-like designs. Top this with delicate pink/pastel flowers and your cake will be simply stunning.
Have a Marsala dress (or more of them). If you want to have a less traditional wedding, a Marsala-colored wedding gown is a bold, daring and amazingly stylish choice. And if you need more proof that this is a true fashion statement, think of the fact that Vera Wang herself has created gowns in this color. Of course, if you don’t want to have a red wedding dress, you can always dress your bridesmaids (and your future spouse’s groomsmen) in Marsala – and it will still look absolutely wonderful.
Marsala flowers. Rich red garden roses, blush pink peonies and greenery accents look amazing together and they make for a gorgeous combination both when it comes to the bridal bouquet and when it comes to the flower centerpieces too. If you want to settle on Marsala centerpieces, add some blueberries and a metallic vase for an extra dash of elegance, style and uniqueness.
Whatever color theme you choose for your own Big Day, rest assured that The Victorian Estate will be more than able to incorporate them into our unforgettable venue. Come visit us and our opulent, carefully manicured gardens! We guarantee you will be bewildered by the grace and beauty of our venue!
