Choosing a wedding ceremony site is one of the most important steps in your wedding planning process. Before you settle on anything though, you will want to make sure your choice is absolutely perfect, from all points of view. What are the things you should look for when picking your wedding site? Read on and find out more.

Whether or not it is religious. If you want a religious wedding, you will most likely be able to bring a religious officiant to a non-religious site. However, most religious weddings take place in churches and other places of worship.
How many people it can accommodate. Regardless of how many guests you plan on having at your wedding, you should make sure your site can accommodate everyone. Most outdoor ceremony sites can accommodate large numbers of people – and some of the indoor ones can do the same too. However, it is best to inquire first.
Whether or not it is in close proximity to your wedding reception venue. The last thing you want on your wedding day is wasting half of it on your way between the ceremony and the reception. Therefore, you should make sure that there’s a relatively small distance between your site and your venue. These days, a lot of venues provide brides and grooms with ceremony sites too – and booking such a venue can save you a lot of the hassle.
How you can decorate it. Keep in mind the fact that certain sites have very strict rules as to how they can be decorated. For instance, some may not allow candles. Others may only allow you to have a long aisle runner if you pay an extra. Before you make a choice, make sure you ask all the questions you need answer for.
